The Canberra Irish Club is one of the National Capital’s friendliest places to relax with friends.
The Club was officially registered as an incorporated association in 1975 and in 1982 moved to its own premises at Oatley Court, Belconnen ACT. It then moved to its present location at 6 Parkinson Street, Weston in 1986. In 1991 the Club premises were extended to include a members bar and dining facilities. Further extensions were undertaken in December 1994 to include a new dining room, outdoor area and to provide much needed bar space.

Canberra Southern Cross Club in Woden has on offer a bar, as well as restaurants, function rooms, live entertainment, pool/snooker tables and daily promotions. The Club’s mission is to provide social and entertainment programs for members, based on Christian standards.
This is a club that provides an excellence in service to its members and visitors by managing a range of services along with social programs that foster family values. Woden has three main dining areas: Golden Grille, Cafe Cosmo and Henry’s all in a non-smoking environment. (Cafe Cosmo patrons who smoke can use the adjoining balcony). However, an additional quick-service Star Cafe offers members and their guests very good quality food at reasonable prices.
